An initiative to explore better..

Nurturing Young Minds Better

Seekh – an initiative is born to give a foundation, a platform from which children interested in pursuing art as a career, could boost their skill, their knowledge and their curiosity, to ultimately have them arrive at the doorstep of the life that they dreamed of.
As a concept, Seekh is the amalgamation of the wild and wistful ideas of two people both indefinitely tied & twined to the arts yet polar in every other way.

It is an intensive 2 year residential program at HAYDE HERITAGE ACADEMY, Kotdwara, Uttarakhand that brings together academics – CBSE 11th-12th curriculum and board preparation with Art – critical design thinking, skill development, portfolio building, leading to preparation for design or art colleges that the child might want to apply for .

The curriculum – this is exceptionally child centric. Here a child learns 4 basic rules to help them surpass the chaos in the environment. These are –

Be Curious – To reach a young mind, one has to know what it is curious about in the first place. It’s more about the “learner” than it is about the “teacher”.

To Develop Skills – At Seekh, we take the natural movements of a student’s hands and slowly encourage/develop the motor skills required to command the movement.

To Gain Confidence – Abilities transpire confidence. At Seekh, we identify specific abilities, ascertain complimentary skills and train appropriately

To Learn to Practice – A slowly drawn line requires more skill than a quick stroke. Seekh guides the students through their practice allowing the mind and hand to develop a mutual trust

With Seekh at the culmination of the +2 year course, the student will know where to apply, how to apply and will be armed with a skill set to clear the entrance tests and a solid portfolio to present!

Above written content is as presented by Hayde Heritage Academy, Kotdwar.

At Minitins, we have carefully chosen to support the initiative because of its potential to allow the young minds to be creative enough and get ready to dirty their hands to be skillful & crafty. The launch of the program this monsoon season sets the tempo rightfully ahead of the changes proposed in the New Education Policy 2020 as announced by CBSE Board on 30th July. We appreciate the school management for its foresightedness to strengthen their academics and for its appreciation of the design-thinking lead approach to act as effective catalyst for clearing apprehensions, avoiding assumptions and resolving chaos.

Best wishes for this course by Team MINITINS.
